Pella Custom Windows & Doors in Riviera Beach: What to Know First

We install, replace, and service Pella custom windows and doors across Riviera Beach as an independent Pella service provider, not a manufacturer affiliate. Most custom Pella jobs take one to five business days from diagnosis to completion, depending on whether we’re repairing a weatherstripping channel, reglazing a sash, or setting a new custom-shape window into an existing opening. Pricing runs honest and line-itemed, which means you’ll see exactly what the materials cost and exactly what the labor costs before we touch the opening.

Call (786) 829-6722

If you own a Pella product that’s fogged, binding, or letting water in around the frame, call (786) 829-6722. Dale Kessler and the TruePane crew work on Pella windows and doors week in and week out, and we answer the phone when you call.

How Pella Products Fail - and How We Fix Them

Pella builds a solid window, but every manufacturer has weak points that show up over time. In Riviera Beach, the salt air and summer humidity find those weak points faster than they would in a drier climate. Here’s what we see most often on Pella custom windows and doors in this area, and what we do about it.

  • Failed insulated glass on Pella Architect Series and Designer Series windows. The Architect Series uses aluminum-clad wood frames, and after fifteen or twenty years of direct coastal exposure, the seal between the glass panes starts to let go. You’ll see condensation between the panes that won’t wipe off. The fix is replacement of the insulated glass unit, not the entire window. We measure the opening twice, order glass that matches the original thickness and Low-E coating, and set the new unit into the existing frame. Half the time the frame is still perfectly sound.
  • Weatherstripping rot on Pella 350 Series sliding patio doors. The original vinyl weatherstripping on the 350 Series gets brittle after a decade of Florida sun, then starts to tear at the corners. The door still slides, but you feel a draft along the meeting rail. We replace the weatherstripping channel with a heavier gauge than the original, so it forms a proper compression seal instead of just sitting in the groove. This is a one-day repair for a competent glazier, and it stops the draft and the rising power bill in the same afternoon.
  • Sagging hinge hardware on Pella ProLine casement windows. The ProLine series is common in Riviera Beach homes built in the 1990s and early 2000s, and the casement hinges on those units were never built for the number of open-and-close cycles a coastal home puts on them. When the sash starts to drop a quarter inch, the crank gets stiff, and the outer corner of the window stops sealing. We replace the hinges with a stainless aftermarket set that outlasts the original, not a cheap zinc copy, and we square the sash before we lock the hinge pins in place.
  • Leaking glaze on Pella Impervia fiberglass windows. Impervia is Pella’s fiberglass line, and the frames hold up well here. What fails is the glazing bead, which is a thin strip of rubber or vinyl that holds the glass in the sash. After enough UV exposure, that bead shrinks, and water wicks into the gap between glass and frame. The symptom is a fine line of staining at the bottom interior corner of the sash. We remove the old bead, clean the glass channel, and set a fresh bead that matches the original profile. It’s small labor, but skipped, it will rot a wood sill inside of five years.
  • Broken sash locks on Pella Lifestyle Series double-hungs. The Lifestyle Series locks are die-cast and fine for normal use, but when a window isn’t balanced properly, the weight of the sash sits on the lock mechanism every time you close it. That’s what breaks them. We fix the balance first, then replace the lock with an OEM part so the warranty stays intact. If the window is out of warranty, we’ll quote a quality aftermarket lock at about a third of the factory price and tell you the difference before you decide.

Our Pella Custom Windows & Doors Process

When you call us about a Pella window or door, here’s what happens, step by step. No surprises, no second appointment left hanging.

  1. 1
The call. A live person answers at (786) 829-6722. You tell us what the window is doing. We ask enough questions to know if it’s a glass failure or a mechanical failure before we send a truck.
  2. 2
The site visit. We come out, measure the opening twice, and inspect the sash, the frame, the hardware, and the sealant. We write everything down. If it’s a repair, we give you a line-item price right there. If it’s a replacement, we quote the job in writing before we leave.
  3. 3
The parts decision. For Pella windows still under warranty, we use OEM parts and register the work per Pella’s requirements. Out of warranty, we lay out the OEM option and a quality aftermarket option side by side on paper, with prices, so you choose what fits your budget and your plans for the house.
  4. 4
The work. A background-checked, uniformed TruePane technician does the repair or install. Glass gets set square. Weatherstripping gets compressed properly. Fasteners get torqued to spec, not cranked down until they strip.
  5. 5
The test. Before we pack up, we run the window through its full range of motion, check the reveal on both sides, and spray the exterior with water to confirm the drainage path is clear. If it leaks, we fix it before we leave. If it binds, we adjust it before we leave.
  6. 6
The guarantee. Every Pella job carries our Done Right Promise: if it is not done right, we make it right, no paperwork and no arguing. And both warranty layers, manufacturer and workmanship, get registered in writing before the truck leaves the driveway.

What Pella Custom Windows & Doors Costs in Riviera Beach

Here’s honest money for the Pella work we do in Riviera Beach, based on what these jobs have actually run in this market.

  • Insulated glass replacement (single Pella Architect Series sash): $350-$650, depending on glass size and Low-E coating.
  • Weatherstripping replacement on a Pella 350 Series slider: $180-$320, including the heavier gauge material.
  • Casement hinge and sash realignment (Pella ProLine): $220-$400 per window, parts included.
  • Full new Pella custom-shape window (circle top, arched transom, or oversized fixed unit): $900-$2,400 installed, depending on frame material, glass package, and whether the rough opening needs modification.
  • Pella Lifestyle Series full replacement double-hung: $700-$1,400 per window installed, hardware and interior trim included.

What moves price: glass dimensions, frame material, custom grid patterns, and whether we’re pulling a permit. Riviera Beach coastal code requirements apply to some openings, and we’ll tell you upfront if yours does. Call (786) 829-6722 for a written estimate specific to your window. Estimates are free, and the number we quote is the number on the bill.

Why Riviera Beach Homeowners Call TruePane Windows & Doors for Pella Work

We’ve been setting and servicing windows and doors in Palm Beach County since 2008, which means we’ve seen every way a coastal window can fail and most of the ways a homeowner can get burned by a contractor. Dale Kessler founded TruePane in 2008 because he was tired of seeing out-of-true installs and voided warranties, and the rule on his whiteboard has not changed: if the pane is not true, the job is not done.

Our techs work on Pella, Andersen, PGT, CGI, so when you call us about a Pella window, you’re getting a crew that understands how Pella’s hardware and sealing systems compare to every other major line on the market. If the right answer for your house is a PGT impact window instead of a Pella repair, we’ll tell you that straight and quote it on paper. We answer the phone 24/7, we show up when we say we will, and every job carries the Done Right Promise in writing.
